Mission and Strategic Objectives

In 2022, we launched our new 13-year strategy: Inspiring Changemakers, Building Belonging.
The aim of the strategy is to effect change, focusing on three main objectives so that a child starting school in 2022 will leave the education system in 2035 having been able to access the life-changing benefits of play and sport to help them achieve their full potential.

We pride ourselves on being a mission driven organisation, dedicated to equipping educators and empowering young people to build bright futures. Every initiative we take is closely aligned with our strategic objectives, to ensure that our work consistently reflects our mission, vision, and values, while pioneering innovative ways to use sport to enhance children’s wellbeing and opportunities.

As a people-focused organisation, we practice what we preach—demonstrating a strong commitment to inclusion and diversity. Staff have plenty of opportunities to contribute their ideas and shape our workplace: our Employee Forum meets every two months to advise on all workplace matters, and our bi-weekly staff briefings are organised by and for employees.

Together we will harness the power of play and sport to build belonging for a generation, improving their health, fostering inclusion and developing character and leadership.
