Our employees are our greatest assets and are central to our success. Our reward package includes both cash and non-cash benefits and it is important to us that the package of benefits we offer our employees represents what our employees’ value.
Family
Maternity/Adoption Support and Pay
We offer enhanced company maternity/adoption support subject to qualifying criteria. The company maternity and adoption scheme pays 8 weeks full pay, followed by 8 weeks half pay and the remaining 31 weeks statutory maternity pay.
Paternity Support and Pay
We offer enhanced paternity support and pay subject to qualifying criteria. We will make up the difference between your basic salary and statutory pay, so you will receive 2 weeks full pay.
Financial
Pension
All employees are encouraged to join the contributory pension scheme. You will receive 5% employer pension contribution, based on your basic salary. Your contribution will be a minimum of 4%.
Group Life Assurance
You will be covered by our Group Life Assurance Scheme.
Financial Support Portal
Access to a free financial education and guidance portal which give employees access to a whole host of educational content on subjects such as Pensions, Investments, Protection, Wills, Power of Attorney and lots more.
Free Parking
We provide free parking at SportPark or other designated Loughborough University car parks.
Home-working Allowance
If you are designed a home worker we will support you in setting up your home office.
Interest Free Season Ticket
You could benefit from our 6 month or 12 month interest free season ticket loans for bus, train or tube tickets.

Giving Something Back
Length of Service Awards
As a token of our appreciation for your loyalty and dedication to the Youth Sport Trust, we provide awards to employees for length of service.
Volunteer Leave
We recognise the importance of volunteering and provide up to 5 days volunteer leave each year, of which 3 days are paid and 2 days are unpaid.
Wellbeing
Active 30
We champion a healthy and happy working environment and your wellbeing is important to us. We encourage our people to take advantage of benefits such as our Cash Plan, as well as our “Active 30” initiative, which offers a varied timetable of lunchtime activities, including Boccia, Woodland Walks, Beach Volleyball and Yoga classes to name a few.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
We provide an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) to help you with any support and advice on any problem and will work with you to find the best way of dealing with it. This is a support service providing counselling via telephone and face to face. It is confidential and available to you free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Workplace Champions
All employees have access to our Workplace Champions, teams of internal colleagues who have been professionally trained to help to support employees with their mental health/wellbeing, and/or their menopause journey.
Work Life Balance
Annual Leave
We provide a generous holiday entitlement of up to 30 days leave each year, of which 5 days are set by the Youth Sport Trust, plus 8 bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time employees).
Buying Additional Annual Leave
You have the opportunity to purchase additional annual leave each year.

Your Health
Cash Plan
We recognise the importance of maintaining good health and wish to support you and your family with this. Our cash plan allows you to claim back a proportion of the cost of everyday healthcare and medical expenses including dental and optical costs. You can upgrade your level of cover to include your family by paying an additional contribution.
Sick Pay
We offer a generous occupational sickness scheme to support all employees through period of illness.
